Caramelized Onion and Bacon Hot Dogs

4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, finely chopped
1 cup slivered onions
2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
6 OSCAR MAYER Beef Franks
6 brioche hot dog buns, partially split
2 tsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
Directions
- Cook and stir bacon in medium skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon; drain on paper towels.
- Add onions to reserved drippings in skillet; cook over medium-low heat 20 min. or until onions are softened and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- Drain onions; return to skillet. Add bacon, honey and vinegar; mix well. Bring just to simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until thickened. Cool slightly.
- Heat grill to medium heat. Grill franks 5 min. or until heated through, turning occasionally and adding buns, cut sides down, to the grill for the last minute.
- Fill buns with franks. Top with mustard and bacon mixture.
