Tahini Brownies

Ingredients
1/2 cup Wild Harvest unsalted butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large Wild Harvest eggs
1/2 cup Wild Harvest tahini
1 teaspoon Wild Harvest vanilla extract
1/2 cup Wild Harvest all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup Wild Harvest tahini
2 tablespoons Wild Harvest powdered sugar
2-3 tablespoons Wild Harvest milk or water
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl or over low heat in a saucepan. Allow it to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add the eggs, tahini, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Fold the mixture until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- In a small bowl, mix together the tahini, powdered sugar, and milk or water until smooth.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Dollop the tahini swirl mixture over the top of the brownie batter.
- Use a knife or a skewer to create swirls by gently dragging it through the tahini and brownie batter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is crackly and the edges are set but the center is still slightly soft.
- To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center of the brownies. It should come out with a few moist crumbs. Let cool completely before slicing.
