Chocolate Dipped Fruit

1 lb strawberries
2 kiwi
2 clementine
1 cup Semi-Sweet Nestlé Toll House Morsels
1 cup Dark Chocolate Nestlé Toll House Morsels
1 cup Premier White Nestlé Toll House Morsels
3 tbsp vegetable shortening
Sprinkles, if desired
Directions
- Gently rinse fruit and dry on paper towels, making sure all water is eliminated. Line cookie sheet with waxed paper.
- Add 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening per 1 cup semi- sweet, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or premier white morsels. Microwave uncovered, in a glass bowl on high for 45 seconds; stir. If needed, heat additional 10-15 second, stirring vigorously until melted. Do not melt more than 2 cups of morsels at a time.
- Dip lower half of fruit into chocolate mixture; allow excess to drip back into bowl. Place on waxed paper-lined cookie sheet.
- If decorating, drizzle another flavor of melted chocolate over fruit, using small spoon. Follow quickly with sprinkles.
- Refrigerate uncovered about 30 minutes or until coating is set.
