Beer Cheese Dip

Ingredients
3 tablespoons Essential Everyday butter
2 tablespoons Essential Everyday all-purpose flour
2/3 cup whole milk
2/3 cup beer
1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Essential Everyday garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Essential Everyday onion powder
1/4 teaspoon Essential Everyday smoked paprika
1 teaspoon Essential Everyday Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
8-10 oz Essential Everyday Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
Directions
- Add butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, whisk in flour until no lumps remain. Let it cook for 1 minute, whisking constantly.
- Slowly stream in the milk, whisking until smooth and thickened, then slowly add the beer while whisking. Add in all remaining ingredients, including the cheese, until smooth. Remove from heat and serve warm. The dip will continue to thicken as it cools.
