Ingredients
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 1/4 pounds ground beef
8 slices American cheese
1/3 cup Woodstock Burger Sauce
4 Cub rolls
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large cast-iron skillet over medium-high. Add onion, ground beef, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook, undisturbed, until the beef starts to develop a crust, 1–2 minutes. Flip, breaking up the meat. Continue cooking until browned, 30 more seconds. Arrange cheese over meat, remove from heat, and let melt.
  2. Spread burger sauce on both sides of the rolls. Divided beef among roll bottoms with a spatula. Top with lettuce and tomatoes.

Tip:
Make it spicy by adding 2–4 tablespoons chopped pickled hot peppers to the beef mixture for an extra punch of flavor.
