Spicy Beer Cheese & Steak Dip

1 can Campbell's Chunky Spicy Steak and Potato soup
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
½ cup beer (for more beer flavor increase to ¾ cup)
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup + 2 tbsp. sharp cheddar cheese (2 tbsp. for garnish)
3 green onions, chopped (optional)
Pretzels, for dipping
Potato Chips, for dipping
Directions
- Heat oven to 400F.
- Combine beer and soup in a small bowl.
- Place cream cheese in an oven safe dish. Top with soup mixture, 1 cup cheddar cheese and garlic powder.
- Baked for 20 min. or until hot and bubbly. Stir with a whisk to combine ingredients. (For a smoother dip, use the back of a fork to smash the potato and steak pieces).
- Top with remaining 2 tbsp. cheddar cheese and green onions, if desired.
- Serve with pretzels and chips.
For Slow Cooker Prep: Cut cream cheese into cubes and place in a 6qt slow cooker. Add soup, beer, 1 cup cheddar cheese, and garlic powder. Cook on HIGH for 1 hour. Stir to combine all ingredients and top with remaining 2 tbsp cheddar cheese and green onions, if desired. Serve with pretzels and chips.
