Laphroaig Scotch Whisky Single Malt, 750 Millilitre, $71.99
Matured twice in American oak, Laphroaig Quarter Cask presents an irresistible doubling of flavor. Because the second maturation takes place in smaller, quarter-sized casks, the spirit has more contact with wood. This lends hints of coconut, banana and vanilla to the instantly recognizable Laphroaig flavor of smoky peat complemented by a surprising sweetness. It should be enjoyed alone, over ice or with a splash of water to fully pay tribute to the unique flavor. Laphroaig Quarter Cask begins its maturation in ex-bourbon barrels and, while still aging, is transferred to small quarter casks. Aging in smaller barrels revives an old tradition, paying tribute to the master distillers who have perfected the Laphroaig process over two centuries.

Highland Park Scotch Whisky, Single Malt, 750 Millilitre, $139.99
Estd 1798. Aged 18 years. A uniquely smooth and balanced single malt, with a toffee sweetness and a mouthwatering smoky finish. At Highland Park we insist on an uncompromising approach to whisky-making. We're one of only a handful of distilleries that slowly malts its barley on a stone floor. Turning it by hand and thereby delivering a more balanced flavour. Next, we smoke the barley over. Aromatic Peat, hand-cut Hobbister Moor to bring a unique fragrant heather character to the whisky. Then, the spirit is taken from the stills and carefully filled into. Sherry oak casks from Spain, these deliver priceless natural colour and a distinctive honey sweetness, perfectly complementing the aromatic peat. Next comes the hardest part, leaving it undisturbed to 18 or more years to mature in the consistently cool Orcadian air. When it's ready, we choose and combine our best cusks, then leave them to settle and Harmonise. The result is a uniquely smooth and balanced single malt, with a rich Toffee Sweetness and a long mouthwatering smoky finish. It's the kind of dram you long for when you've worked as hard as we have. Gently Smoky but surprisingly sweet. Is the perfect way to describe the uniqueness of Highland Park. The meeting between the aromatic peat of Orkney and the sweet sherry oak casks from Spain ensure this perfect balance is always achieved. The Celebration Blend: the master blender's reserve. Finest malt and grain whiskies. When John Walker first established his family business in 1820 he began a lineage of pioneering whisky craftsmen that continues unbroken to this day. The expertise and carefully honed skills of these craftsmen have been passed down from generation to generation, each crafting innovative whisky flavors with deep character to be savored and enjoyed all around the world. Inspired by this rich tradition, we have today created Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, a vibrant and contemporary celebration of the art of blending Scotch Whisky. As Master Blender I have personally chosen casks of my favorite whiskies from selected reserves to craft this whisky of vibrant character. They include casks of Clynelish Single Malt Whisky whose water source flows from the Kildonan Hills where gold was discovered in 1868. These whiskies are then brought together to create a smooth, creamy and beautifully balanced blend with deep layers of rich flavor. The result is a sweet and fruity Blended Scotch Whisky that evolves into deep honeyed tones and long, lingering waves of light smoke. Best served over crushed ice with a slice of orange, this is a whisky that is every bit as luxurious and indulgent as its name suggests.
