Watkins Spiced Banana Bread

Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon Watkins All Natural Organic Gourmet Baking Vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoon Watkins Ground Pure Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon Watkins Organic Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon Watkins Fine Himalayan Pink Salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup mashed ripe banana
1 ripe banana, peeled and cut in half
Directions
- Heat oven to at 350°F and grease a 9x5 loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs, Baking Vanilla, and 1 cup mashed ripe banana.
- In a second large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Slowly stir the flour mixture into the banana batter. Stir in nuts.
- Pour batter into pan. Arrange both halves of the ripe banana on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 45–50 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Turn out of pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
